Nov. 24, 09 Mariachi Escorpion Fall Concert at Jacob Brown it begins at 7 p.m. July 7-13. 09: Mariachi Escorpion & Mariachi Luna Azteca will be going to Albuquerque, New Mexico for the mariachi conference June 8th, 09: Performing for the 150th anniversary of the Immaculate Cathedral this Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 pm. February 26^th, 2009: Charro Days Join us at UTB/TSC Student Union from 9-12 and in the evening performing from 8-9 at the Jacob Brown March 13^th, 2009 MARIACHI ESCORPION CONCERT: Our fund-raising concert to go to China will be held at the Jacob Brown Auditorium on Friday, March 13^th beginning at 8:00 p.m. Tickets will be selling for $7.00 per person general admission. Tickets can be purchased at the Jacob Brown Office, the UTB/TSC Fine Arts Office, or from members of the mariachi. March 24^th, 2009 MARIACHI LUNA AZTECA CONCERT November 25^th, 2008 MARIACHI ESCORPION AND MARIACHI LUNA AZTECA CONCERT October 25^th, 2008 –we will perform for the Air Force Association meeting at SPI in the La Copa Inn from 8:00 -9:00 p.m. October 16^th, 2008–we will perform for the 10^th Annual Distinguished Lecture Series at the UTB/TSC Student Center-8:00 – 9:00 p.m. October 9^th, 2008 -we will perform for the Brownsville ISD’s Early College High School Program kick-off at the BISD Central Campus Auditorium; 10:00 – 11:00 am September 27^th, 2008 – we will perform for the annual Hispanic Heritage Concert at the SETB Lecture hall; the event will begin at 8:00 pm. September 15^th, 2008 We performed at the Mercedes Outlet Mall for the 16^th of September celebration and we performed at the Mexican Consulate’s celebration as well. July- July 9-13^th, 2008 Escorpion will be attending the Mariachi Spectacular in Albuquerque, New Mexico May 3^rd, 2008 Escorpión, will be performing in Laredo, Texas for the “Fiesta del Mariachi Festival” competition April 12^th, 2008- Mariachi Escorpion was invited by McAllen High School to present a short program for their “Noche de Gala” concert at the new McAllen Convention Center April 4^th, 2008- “Este es mi México” featuring UTB/TSC Mariachi Escorpión and Mariachi Luna Azteca with special guests UTB/TSC Estudiantina and Ms Karina Vela’s Children’s class.
